And what are you drawing?
The cars are the focus of the sketch. There are a lot of different shapes possible, I guess. This depends on the type of car, what time of day it is, and of course the weather — you just need something that makes the car stand out! In this case it was important to make something that made me smile when I saw it.
In the back of the pencils, the sketches are filled in with a white or dark gray color.
After some sketching, you are almost ready to start painting. There may be some areas that are difficult. I try to make sure to focus on the important areas without worrying about everything else. Often these areas will be the most difficult to paint, so make sure you are concentrating on these areas, the first stage of the process.
I’m going to paint over the drawings you drew. You may notice that I try to paint all over the drawings that I have drawn so that it’s difficult to tell which ones are yours and which are not. It makes painting the car easier!
After the painted strokes of the drawing have been erased, it is time to put them into the computer.
There are several software programs available for both Macintosh and Windows, such as Paint Shop Pro and Apple® Paint, however, for this article, I am using Adobe Illustrator for both Macintosh and Windows.
