How many hours should you practice piano? – Piano Lessons Liverpool Street

My answer is, it depends.

It depends. For a musician who is serious about learning the basics, I recommend practicing at least 2-3 hours a day. For a guitarist who loves playing fast, I recommend practicing about 2.5-3 hours a day, depending on the length of the session. For a drummer playing live, I recommend 2-3 hours of practice. I’ve found that an “average” day of practicing 2-3 hours is enough to achieve a high playing level. But there is no single standard.
