The more awareness and self awareness you have the better your chances of progressing, developing and creating works that are worth saving.
One of the biggest mistakes people have is to assume they have what it takes to become a great artist. Most of them have never touched a brush, but they say they’ve “learned”. There is nothing wrong with learning and learning from great artists. It is important that this learning is done slowly and with the understanding that you may not ever become a great artist.
It is important however to get the tools and experience you’ll need to become a great artist. As a beginner, these pieces will be some of the most meaningful pieces you’ll put up for sale. As you gain experience this will build up to becoming a master at painting.
As you learn and grow, you’ll then look for others who are the same way but not as experienced or have the same background and background of learning. This may mean spending some time getting to know new artists or people who you know are good beginners. You can then work with them to develop your style and then sell your best and most successful works to them.
